Since the announcements from Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon regarding the steps
to be taken in order to prepare as a nation to tackle the Coronavirus Pandemic, the face of
Allied Health Professional practice has been changing. Regardless of which of the AHPs you
may be, there is no escaping the fact that a large proportion of our ‘traditional’ work will not
be continuing for some time. Therefore it is up to us as adaptable, capable and pragmatic
therapists to work bravely and differently in these times of uncertainty and drastic change.
But fear not; this is already happening amongst many different AHP groups across the health
and social care landscape.
The following Wakelet Blog contains just a few of the influential and inspiring examples that have been shared across social media in the last few weeks; more are added daily.
We, at AHPScot, hope that this blog will help you to continue to innovate and create new ways to
work and deliver AHP services in your area.
